THE POWER OF UNDYING LOVE & HOPE
Never give up on your dream characterizes my description of this book. It is very well written, full of depth and description about the plight of not just one family but of humanity at a time in life that was brutally ravaged by economic depression, blight and famine. The term: "And this too shall pass" seems not to apply as the family goes around and around in circles of nightmarish hardship. But love truly does prevail. This is an excellent reading!

Niall Williams is possessed of an ability rare. The current and push of his stories roll out like a mighty river with currents and eddies in combination creating a moving, compelling tale carrying in its swell the lives, loves and stories of man.
