In this study, we'll talk about how mature Christians view their own sinfulness and how their perspective affects the way they approach conflict and brokenness in relationships. We'll also look at the incredible scope of the Gospel and some of the many reasons we have to be thankful for God's love for us.
SMALL GROUP QUESTIONS:
Was there ever a time when you viewed God's commands as restrictive and then later realized they were actually blessings?
In what ways do you see the effects of sin and brokenness in your personal relationships, and how can you take responsibility for your own contributions?
In what ways have you experienced or witnessed the 'common grace' of God in your life or the lives of others, even those who may not acknowledge Him?
How does the knowledge that this life is 'as bad as it gets' for believers and 'as good as it gets' for non-believers affect your perspective on current struggles and eternal hope?
How does understanding the 'massive scope of the Gospel' across all of history impact your view of your place in God's plan?
Reflecting on Jesus' words in John 14, how does the promise of the Holy Spirit's presence impact your daily life and spiritual walk?
