In today’s episode, I dive into a fascinating concept about the two forms of currency we experience in life: love as children and money as adults. These two currencies are deeply intertwined and shape our behaviors and relationships throughout our lives.
As children, we seek love, approval, and acceptance from our parents. These early experiences often influence how we pursue financial success as adults. For example, I constantly sought my father’s affection, despite always having my mother’s unconditional love. This dynamic mirrored my adult life, where I find myself always striving for more money and validation, even though I already possess the qualities that make me worthy and capable.
I realized that instead of maximizing my strengths—like my intuitive gift and ability to understand and simplify complex topics—I often fall into the trap of doing more, seeking more, and never feeling like it’s enough. It’s crucial to recognize that we don’t need to do more to be worthy; we already have everything we need within us.
This episode is about understanding our internal workings and how they influence our approach to making money. By examining our relationship with love and money, we can find the best ways to receive both. Celebrate the small wins, accept compliments, and acknowledge the little actions and choices that contribute to our larger goals.
Join me as we dive into this introspective exercise and discover how to align our pursuit of financial success with our innate worthiness and strengths. Tune in to this episode and start recognizing and celebrating your small wins today!
