This week we led off with an absolute thriller at the Allianz where Bayern downed Real Madrid 6-4 on aggregate to move through to the semis! In the Prem Cherki styled on Chelsea at Stamford Bridge and now City are breathing down Arsenal's neck at the summit of the table as the Gunners fell to Bournemouth at home! Barcelona dominated Espanyol in the derby while Real dropped points to Girona at home, Inter won a seven goal barn-burner at the Sinigaglia against Como, and Leverkusen went to Dortmund and got a narrow victory! Wanderers got a good road point in Toronto and there was lots of off field changes including the historic appointment of Marie-Louise Eta at Union Berlin!

This week we led off with the League Cup Final from Wembley where Man City bossed Arsenal with an O'Reilly brace to claim the first trophy of the season! It was an entertaining draw on the south coast where Bournemouth and Man United shared points, Villa made up ground with a win over West Ham while Brighton through Welbeck goals downed Liverpool who will say goodbye to club legend Salah after the season! Vini showed out in a rollicking win in a five goal Madrid derby, Milan beat a game Torino at San Siro, and it was another 3-2 finish in a second half comeback for Dortmund over Hamburg! This week we welcomed back special guest and Man United fan Tino to the pod! We led off with a brief look at the midweek fixtures in the Prem, then hit the late drama from Anfield were City won it to keep pace with a rampant Arsenal who beat Sunderland at home! In the Prem Man United won in thrilling fashion at the Emirates over Arsenal while City and Villa made up ground on them at the top! Real Madrid went to the Ceramica and downed Villarreal to keep pace with Barça, Yilidiz shone again in a convincing Juventus win over Napoli, and Augsburg dealt Bayern their first league defeat in a Bavarian derby!
