The Bible teaches that we will not escape the evil day. We must be prepared to go through it. In the light of this, Paul said, “Put on the full armor of God.” As the soldier’s breastplate protects the chest from the enemy’s attacks, today we will discover that when we are dressed to kill, we can overcome the enemy's best shot and still win!

We are commanded in Scripture to deal with the unseen, invisible forces that have been sent to oppose the purpose and calling of every believer. Today, we will begin to understand the first component of armor and the reality that when we are dressed to kill the truth is that this fight is a wrap!

Whether we are aware or not we are all engaged in the spiritual battle between the Kingdom of Heaven and the forces of our enemy, the devil. The word commands that our position in this war is to be strong in the Lord daily. When we put on the whole armor of God, we extend the victory Jesus established through the resurrection! Tonight we will begin to discover that this is not a game and in order to stay “Dressed to Kill” we must know the rules of engagement.

Today we will begin to understand the unseen battle that Jesus died and rose to ensure that we are always wearing our church clothes and we are dressed to Kill!

We have learned that the trick of satan is to use the trap of the flesh, which is called offense. The word teaches that offense leads to betrayal, which lives in a place called bitterness. Bitterness is a sleeper sin. It grows beneath the surface, down deep in the soil of our hearts. Tonight we will continue to discover that, in order for us to reign in life, we must learn to permanently uproot, and get over the bitterness that offense brings 

We have learned that the flesh is the fallen nature of man that was birthed when Adam “took the bag” called offense which always led to betrayal by disobeying God. Today, we will continue to learn how to win our “first fight” by not allowing the flesh to take our crown!

We have learned that the trick of satan is to use the trap of the flesh, which is called offense. Satan desires to keep mankind in an earthly-minded state, so we never realize that the actual source of the enemy's attack is spiritual. Today, we will continue to learn how to win our “first fight” by not taking the bag and breaking the trap of offense and betrayal.

We have learned that man is both physical and spiritual, and therefore, we experience a twofold attack from the enemy. Satan desires to keep mankind in an earthly-minded state, so we never realize that the actual source of the enemy's attack is spiritual. Today, we will learn how to win our “first fight” by breaking the trap of the flesh!
