The Rangers are apprehended by the police, but Tommy and Kat convince them to release the others. As they trek towards the Command Center, they face a sandstorm and the pursuit of Goldar and Rito. At the Command Center, Zordon and Alpha 5 discover the power outage was due to a loose plug, but Zordon is unable to grant the Rangers their powers because of their ages.
