Tommy battles Goldar and Putties to retrieve the Dragon Dagger and regain control of the Dragonzord, while the other Rangers work to restore Zordon's life force. After a series of intense battles, Tommy manages to retrieve the Power Coins and is teleported back to the Command Center, where he passes out from exhaustion. The Rangers then work together to restore Zordon and eventually defeat Dramole, freeing their parents from the Dark Dimension. The Rangers morph and teleport to the Dark Dimension to stop Billy, but Goldar escapes with the Dagger and demands they surrender their Power Coins in exchange for their parents' safety. With no choice, the Rangers hand over their Coins, except for Jason, who secretly keeps the Dragon Power Coin given to him by Tommy. The flea monster grows giant, but the Rangers defeat it with the Megazord.
