The Fan Experience with: Jeff Munneke
In the 2019-20 NBA season, the total attendance was at over 17 million. The league-wide average per game attendance in the NBA was 17,750 in the 2019-20 season. Jeff Munneke is the Vice President of Fan Experience for the Minnesota Timberwolves & Lynx. He oversees all aspects of Fan Experiences which includes serving as the primary contact for all fan interactions with a focus on Timberwolves and Lynx season ticket members in the driveway-to-driveway experience inside Target Center.
He oversaw community youth basketball for 28 seasons and earned a distinguished service award from the Minnesota Basketball Coaches Association (MBCA) in 2007, as well as being inducted into the MBCA Hall of Honor in October of 2011.
As Director of Ticket Sales, oversaw a staff that was responsible for selling and servicing full and partial season ticket accounts, group sales events and promotions and also running the Timberwolves youth basketball program.
“The goal is to create extraordinary memories in each Timberwolves and Lynx interaction under our 1 service platform - One Moment Creates a Memory” he said. He joined me this week to discuss what goes into creating an authentic fan experience.
