Training Camp News: 

Antonio Brown has returned and left practice multiple times this offseason. His bizarre behavior due to the fact that he wants to wear his helmet that was banned by the NFL or so he says. Even possible hinting at retiring if he can’t wear the helmet. AB has kept himself squarely in the limelight this entire offseason. With everything that has happened this offseason, how confident would you be taking AB at his current projected ADP (2.11 – FFCalc half ppr)?

Damien Williams returned to action this past weekend. He received the first series with the starters. Carlos Hyde the second series. Hyde looked generally awful (gasp shocking) and fumbled. While the real standout is Darwin Thompson. He continues to dominate training camp and preseason action. Many NFL analysts have Carlos Hyde as a cut candidate. 

Jaguars WR DJ Chark has been standing out in camp. The second-year WR has played sparingly in preseason action. However, that speaks more to the team’s overall impression of him and his secure role in the offense. He’s an impressive athlete who boasts upper percentile speed (4.34 forty) and burst. With the Jaguars figuring to be more of a balanced offense with John DeFlippo as the OC. Are the Jaguars receiver group being underrated? Only DeDe Westbrook has drawn any buzz among fantasy gamers. 

Ronald Jones has been dealing with swelling in his knee after possibly hyperextending his knee in their first preseason game against the Dolphins. Dare Ogunbowale has had a solid camp and preseason. Is he truly the RB to own in TB?

Demaryius Thomas has been activated from the PUP. Which means he could be ready for week 1. He’s coming off of his 2nd torn Achilles in his career. It’s hard to imagine the 31-year-old WR has much left in the tank.

Training Camp News:

David Montgomery flashed why the Bears took him and moved on from Jordan Howard during their Week 1 preseason matchup against the Panthers. He finished with 3 carries for 16 yards and a TD and 3 receptions for 30 yards. His current ADP of 3.11 makes him an intriguing RB. RBs currently going in the 3rd are Aaron Jones, Marlon Mack, Leonard Fournette, and Melvin Gordon.  With Josh Jacobs, Montgomery, and Miles Sanders all going within the top 6 rounds which running back would you want on your fantasy team this season? 

Kenyan Drake has been spotted in a walking boot this week and his Week 1 status remains in doubt. Kalen Ballage takes over as the starter. Where does he move in your rankings? How high would you be comfortable taking him? 

Preston Williams was very impressive for the Dolphins. 4 receptions for 97 yards and nearly found the endzone. Jakobi Meyers also had a monster day for the Patriots finding the endzone twice. Do any of these rookie wide receivers possess any fantasy value? 

James Washington dominated in his first preseason action of 2019 with four catches for 87 yards and a touchdown. Washington struggled in 2018 but after a strong camp and now builds upon that with a solid showing. Has your opinion changed? Is he the WR to own opposite of JuJu? It should be mentioned that Moncrief did not suit up in the game. 

Jerick McKinnon likely will open the season on the IR with the designation to return. Big Boost for Coleman and Breida
