The Fantasy Fam

Another installment of The Fantasy Fam!!  This is a great episode as we dive into players that have a lot of hype...BUT we discuss whether or not we agree with the hype.  Every year there are fantasy owners that must draft certain players based solely on the 'hype' that surrounds them.  That may turn out great or it could bite you in the you know what.  So get your ticket, take a seat, turn the volume up, & listen to The Fam talk about the players they may like or may not.  We cannot please everyone, so you be the judge.

Be sure to follow us on twitter @TheFantasyFam

What is up Fantasy Fam!  We welcome back cousin Kyle to the show after his long vacation overseas.  This is a unique episode as we have also added some sound clips.  Send your feedback to let us know what you think!  We begin with some news that has surfaced the past few days & then continue on to our main topic of bounce back players.  We each discuss 3 of our favorite players that will improve from the previous season whether it be from a down year or an injury.  So tune in to hear who we think will rise up from last year.

What is up Fantasy Fam!!!  This past weekend 2 members of The Fam attended and hosted a table at SportsCon in Dallas, TX!  What an experience it was.  Had a blast, met some great people along the way, & went to a live draft at Top Golf...Draft Night Out!  Bigger and better things for next year!  We had the privilege of interviewing New York Giant's very own (was once a Cowboy), Rod Smith (5:15).  Fantastic guy and we appreciate you taking the time to chat with us.  We then continued on our journey through the episode by answering the questions, that YOU the listeners provided us as the event (9:13).  Tune in to hear our responses to these fan based questions!

No need to go into much explanation for this one.  Our first mock draft of 2019.  A poll was conducted on twitter and the voices have spoken...We performed a 'best player available' 12 team, .5 PPR, 1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 TE, 2 WR/RB/TE, & drafted out of the 10th spot mock draft.  We used Sleeper as our platform as we mentioned in the episode.  Listen in to hear the Fam break down who they believe to be the best players available as the mock unfolded.

In this episode we welcome official Fam member, Josh Black (@ff_jblack) to join in the convo about players that we are avoiding for the upcoming season.  Whether it be a single WR/RB or an entire receiving core.  Should you be drafting Fournette with your 2nd round pick??  You do not want to miss this episode because this is one of the requirements in order to be entered in our giveaway.  A Mark Ingram signed jersey!!!  So go check out our pinned tweet to read the rules on how to enter.  So SUBSCRIBE to hear some players you should avoid.

Fantasy Fam...have we got a special episode for you.  Our first female guest and it will not be the last; Lauren Carpenter aka @stepmomlauren.  Lauren, now a member of the Fam, joins the brother's and cousin to discuss some major story lines in the off season.  She not only has a vast knowledge of fantasy football but the raw emotion will blow you away.  We start the journey with some ice breakers such as NY style or deep dish pizza & whether or not she likes the summer or fall better.  Then for the remainder of the episode we dive right into the topic.  Tune in to find out how all of us feel about the 'Madden' team that is Cleveland or who will be the 2nd receiving option for Big Ben in Pittsburgh.

You ever go to TJ Maxx or Marshall's and find something better than what you anticipated??  That is exactly the premise of our show today but in regards to drafting WR's.  Late late round WR's to be exact.  The wide receiver position is soo deep that there are always 'diamonds in the rough' that you can find towards the end of your draft.  Is someone like Zay Jones worth drafting in the 14th round?  Or Jamison Crowder in PPR in the last round...or he may not even go drafted.  Lastly, is this the year that Kenny Stills shows us his true talents with Fitzmagic throwing to him for the first 4 games before Rosen takes over.  Subscribe to find out some late 'fliers' to help you around draft time.

As you all know, most teams in the NFL have multiple RB's.  Not every team can have a Saquon or Zeke.  With that being said, what do you do with the teams that have so many options it will make you sick.  Take the Bills for example, what is going on in that backfield?  You have Gore, McCoy, Singletary, Yeldon.  Many other teams around the league are in the same situation.  The Fam breaks down their thoughts on what to do with these crowded backfields.  We also added a new segment to the show; Sunday Dinner with The Fam.  It's where we sit around the dinner table (not literally) and answer the questions from our Fam members.  Tune in to hear our new portion of our show!

What is up Fantasy Fam????  Do you think Antonio Brown signing with Oakland helped his stock??  In this episode hear The Fam break down the players that took a hit or benefited from free agency & coaching changes.  Could this be the year that Jameis actually shows us what he can do?  We also discuss some players we haven't mentioned lately such as, Devonta Freeman.  How is his situation looking?  Atlanta drafted 2 offensive lineman to help Matty Ice out as well as that running game for Freeman.  So subscribe, sit back, & listen to your favorite Fantasy podcast.

What's going on Fantasy Fam?!?!?  In this episode we discuss the series finale of the critically acclaimed show, Game of Thrones.  There are spoilers but if you haven't watched it yet, that's unfortunately on you.  If you are not a fan or watcher of GOT then fast forward to (9:15) where we chat about some news and injuries thus far in the off season.  We then dive right into the topic of discussion, how much love should the TE's get this season.  The tight end position has created such a buzz in the fantasy community that it will make you sick.  Well, we have a solution...subscribe to our show, crank up the volume, & tune in to hear our thoughts on how we value the TE position.
