This past Sunday Bengals rookie QB Joe Burrow suffered a serious knee injury and will miss the remainder of the season. While that is bad news I believe the "experts" telling you that you must drop all of your Bengals are wrong, and I'll tell you why.
For those that haven't heard this Thursday nights game between the Steelers and the Ravens has been postponed due to several Ravens testing positive for Covid 19. The Steelers have once again been affected by another teams issues and aren't happy about it. I can understand both sides of this coin however, and will explain why there really isn't a good answer here.
Do the Buccaneers have to much receiving talent, and which ones can you trust? Plus week 12 steaming options and a fan question.

With the news that Saints QB Drew Brees will miss at least two weeks with injuries he sustained in this past weekends game, it may leave a lot of you wondering how his absence will affect the fantasy value of several of his teammates. Don't worry I'm here to help you make sense of it.
Josh Allen has grown leaps and bounds from the QB he was just a year ago. There are some who seem to think that this change is just a good run and not something that will last. I completely disagree with this take and will explain why I believe its a bad idea to "sell high" on the Bills young quarterback.
Plus streamers for week 11 and a listener question.

Like the show title says, whether you have running backs on bye, injured, or the Covid list then this is the place to turn. I'll take you through some possible options in what is sure to be a shallow talent pool remaining on the waiver wire in most leagues. But I'm not her to just tell you what to do, I'm here to teach you what to do so in the future you aren't stuck in a similar situation.
Running back isn't the only position where you may be having issues with bye weeks. I'll go through the other key positions and give you some options that may help you get through it.

I'm not ashamed to admit it, I listened back to the format I'd been using for the first 8 episodes of this show and I honestly found it to be rather boring. As with any new idea, there is bound to be revisions and improvements along the way. This show is no different. If you haven't yet listened to an episode of The Fantasy Football Advocate podcast then I invite you to make this episode your first. Let me know what you think. Week 5 saw even more big names fall to injury, I take a look at how their replacements will try to fill in.
Who performed at a high level and helped your team to victory? Who underperformed and caused your team to bottom out? Ill answer both questions and give you some advice as to who you'll be able to rely on week 6.
And finally Ill take a look at the waiver wire and let you know who you need to add in order to turn your season around and make a playoff run.

I'll start out the show with an update on some exciting current and future plans for the show.
I'll review the top performers from week 4, and tell you who is here to stay, and who to be cautious of.
With bye weeks starting week 5 I figured this a great time to start looking at the waiver wire every week and giving insight into players you should be taking a look at, that aren't rostered in nearly enough leagues.
And finally I'll close the show by giving you a few players from each position that you will, and won't be able to count on week 5.

Fantasy football is a fun yet sometimes cruel game. I give an example of this, pulled from first hand experience I had with one of my teams this weekend.
I go over the players that "Got Up" for week 3, and those that were a "Let Down" as well as pointing out who of these players you can rely on for consistency or lack thereof.
Finally I take a look who I'm a bit worried about, and confident in, for week 4.

I'll start off this episode with a look back at this past Mondays game. Who came up big, who forgot to show up, and who can you trust after 2 weeks.
At first glance a Dolphins @ Jaguars Thursday night game doesn't seem that exciting, but trust me, from a football standpoint this game will be exciting. From the fantasy side of things however it may lack. I'll look a little deeper and try to help you find some value ahead of game time.
Plus who is safe to start this weekend? And who should you worry about5
