The Fantasy Takeaway: A Fantasy Football Podcast

On this episode, the guys bring on Professor Chris Moore of the SleeperWire Podcast. Chris was the first full-episode guest on The Fantasy Takeaway, and Murphy & Joe couldn’t be more excited to bring him back. Joe coined a new fantasy term this week. Wide Rerunningback. It’s gonna be a thing. Professor Chris & Joe even made a board bet w/ twitter naming rights on the line. A fun twist on News & Notes, Injury Roundup, Cheap Dates, a Thursday Night Preview, and Week 5 What 2 Watch 4 round out this episode of The Fantasy Takeaway. Good luck with your Week 5 matchups. Week 4 is in the books, and a wild first quarter of the NFL season it has been. Patrick Mahomes came back to earth a little, but the outrageous fantasy scoring has not. Murphy took down Joe’s unbeatable team this week, and the days left in the Todd Gurley helmet giveaway are dwindling. Life is good at The Fantasy Takeaway, and the guys have never worked harder to win you a fantasy championship than they are right now.

Don’t miss Thursday’s episode with Professor Chris Moore of the SleeperWire podcast. Chris is just one of many guests slated to come on the show in the upcoming weeks.

On this episode, the guys are excited to bring back Mark Wemken. Mark is a contributor to RotoBaller and RotoViz. He’s an excellent fantasy analyst, and this time, his audio sounds fantastic (or at least it did the second time around). Take two of this episode turned out exceptional. Just like every Thursday, the guys run you through all the week’s News, Notes & Injuries along with their Week 4 streamers in Cheap Dates. With Mark on board, they even break out some post Week 3 overreactions.

Don’t miss next Week’s Thursday episode with ‘Professor’ Chris Moore of the SleeperWire Podcast. Joe beat Chris in Week 1 of the Professor Chris league of the SleeperWire Pro/Am, so there’s sure to be some trash talk.

Let the fantasy community rejoice!! Murphy survived the severe burns left byMike Wright of The Fantasy Footballers and even wound up being able to dish out a minor torching of his own when it came to his Cheap Date D/ST. On this episode, the guys break down all the insanity that was Week 2 scoring, including an astonishing Human Statsheet Stat of the Week about the ridiculous quarterback play thus far in 2018.

Don’t miss Thursday’s episode with Ronnie Evans of Dynasty ER and a coin flips special later this week with good friend of the show Mark Wemken of Rotoballer & Rotoviz. The action never stops at The Fantasy Takeaway.

There’s no more speculation; no more what-ifs. It’s time for a Week 1 Recap. The Fantasy Takeaway had an amazing Week 1. Michael Thomas was the number one wide receiver. Joe called the number one tight end in his Cheap Dates: Week 1 Streamers article, and players like Kenny Stills & Emmanuel Sanders who Joe & Murphy have been pounding the table about came out strong. It was a good week, but this is no time to rest on our laurels. After some News & Notes, a Booth Review, and a Studs & Duds for the ages, the guys dive into a Week 1 Tapping the Wire for some waiver wire targets. Don’t miss the latest GIVEAWAY from The Fantasy Takeaway & Breaking the Game. Todd Gurley signed pro-line helmet anyone?

Stick around on Thursday for Mike Wright of The Fantasy Footballers, next week for Ronnie Evans of Dynasty ER. This season is going to be packed with great advice, fantastic guests, and an all-around awesome time, so don’t miss an episode.
