This one's a little on the short side, but the guys didn't want to leave you without an episode.

Stay tuned next week for the first part of an eight-part series breaking down the 2018 landscape division by division. First up we'll have Jeff DiMatteo on for the AFC East. This is a bittersweet day for the guys at The Fantasy Takeaway. Chris has decided to step away for personal reasons. He'll still be helping behind the scenes, but all-in-all recording a show every week and two during the season just wasn't something that he decided could fit with his life. We'll miss having you as a third voice on the show Chris, but we know you'll go on to big things in the coming months and years. That said, the show must go on. On Chris' last official episode as a full-time host, the guys talk the major News & Notes, some Stock Up/Stock Down, and take some questions from listeners in the return of the Mailbag.

Don't forget to check out our giveaway, and stay tuned next week for guest Jim DiMatteo as we talk AFC East, and all offseason for guests like Kyle Richardson (Rotoballer), Shane Manila (Dynasty Football Factory), Tyler Ghee (Fantasy Football Franchise), and many more. There's no offseason for fantasy football at The Fantasy Takeaway.

(27:42) Farewell Chris

Yo! Dynasty nerds! Listen up! Rookie big board in the house! This one even comes with some surprises. On this episode, the guys take you through all of the obvious big board guys, and some of the not so obvious ones as well. Barkley, Jones II, DJ Moore, Courtland Sutton and many, many more. First up, the boys talk a little bit about draft strategy and Mark Ingram's four-game suspension–including just what it means for Alvin Kamara. It wouldn't be an episode of The Fantasy Takeaway without a rant from Joe about quarterback pay, so of course there's a nice chunk of News & Notes dedicated to Matt Ryan's new 5-year $150 million extension. The guys even try and fail to get excited about Tyrod Taylor in that revamped Browns' offense.

Stay tuned this offseason for full breakdowns of each team, division by division, with guests from the fantasy football sphere and beyond. Don't forget to check out Breaking the Game on Facebook and enter to win a signed and authenticated Tyreek Hill or Mike Evans Jersey. Don't miss a minute this summer. These episodes could mean the difference between taking home championship belts and coming up short once again.

(16:00) - Fact or Fiction: Ricky Seales-Jones, Rashaad Penny, Dez Bryant.

(26:35) - Rookie Big Board

On this episode, the guys break down all their favorite picks from day two and three of the NFL Draft. On last year's version of this show, Joe highlighted the skills of Kareem Hunt, Jamaal Williams, and Harrison Butker. Murphy, true to character, underscored the talents of Alabama safety Eddie Jackson. With Chris along for the ride and guys like Shaquem Griffin and Michael Gallup under the microscope, there are sure to be some gems in this episode we'll be looking back on a year from now.

But first, the guys have a very special guest on the show. Nick Kendell came on the podcast last season and clued us into Kareem Hunt and Alvin Kamara (among others). This year he's back to talk rookies with Joe & Murphy. There's a strong chance there will be at least one guy talked about in this interview that you'll look back in come December as a league winner. Stay tuned all offseason for more great guests on The Fantasy Takeaway Podcast

First and foremost, thank you! This was our 100th episode, and we could not have gotten here without you! This journey has been incredible, and we can't wait to bring you 100 more episodes of The Fantasy Takeaway! Next, we're happy to announce a GIVEAWAY!!! We've teamed up with Breaking the Game on Facebook to bring you a contest where you could win a signed and authenticated Tyreek Hill jersey OR a signed and authenticated Mike Evans jersey! All you have to do is go to www.thefantasytakeaway.com/giveaway and follow the instructions to be entered for your chance to win!

Now for the draft. What a crazy first round! From the moment Baker Mayfield (WHAT!?) got drafted first overall to the Browns, Murphy and I knew this was going to be a wild weekend, and the rest of the first round did not disappoint. Trades galore, surprise reaches, this first round had it all. What's up with Rashad Penny to the Seahawks? Did anyone have a first-round grade on that kid? Chris was out covering the draft on location, so check out our Facebook and Twitter pages for some live videos and reactions!

The guys at The Fantasy Takeaway are thrilled to be bringing on their first ever guest for the podcast! Chris Moore from the Sleeperwire Podcast is on today's show to talk all the relevant News & Notes including a Fact or Fiction segment. Joe talks about the new Articles section on TheFantasyTakeaway.com. "Who Am I?" Is back! And then it's time for some old standbys in Coin Flips and Keep One/Trade One/Cut One! Finally after Chris bids the boys adieu, Joe, Chris, and Murphy break down this year's admittedly underwhelming class at the tight end position.

Stay tuned next week for a very special draft reaction show!

(28:37) Coin Flips - Landry vs. Gordon, Kupp vs. Woods, Ryan vs. Carr, Ertz vs. Kelce and many more Coin Flips!

(45:10) Keep One/Trade One/Cut One - A play on the old kill one, marry one... well, you get the point. Even the old guys get involved with a Crabtree, Fitzgerald Nelson matchup to close out Chris Moore's time on the show.

(55:03) Stay Tuned Next Week for a Special Draft Reaction Show!

(56:00) Rooke TEs - For fantasy, it's Dallas Goedert or bust. This year's tight end class is paper thin.

Last week the guys brought you their picks for later round running backs that could make a significant impact in 2018. This week Murphy, Chris, and Joe dig into the household names. Running backs Saquon Barkley, Derrius Guice, Ronald Jones, Royce Freeman, Sony Michel & Nick Chubb are among those covered. Joe even says something negative about Barkley; who would've thought!? First up, as always, is the News & Notes along with some Andrew Luck banter.

Make sure to tune in next week as The Fantasy Takeaway teams up with Sleeperwire's Professor Chris (he teaches college math) to break down some predraft coinflips along with a few rookie tight ends along with the usual headlines.

(10:19) - News and Notes - Bennie Logan, Kevin Hogan, Cameron Meredith, Jordan Matthews, Marquette King, Kony Ealy and Richie Incognito. (20:56) - Tell a Friend! (22:49) - Rookie Running Backs - Saquon Barkley, Derrius Guice, Sony Michel, Royce Freeman, Ronald Jones, Nick Chubb

The guys at The Fantasy Takeaway take rookie running backs pretty seriously. Every year it seems there's at least one guy that breaks out and wins thousands of leagues. In 2016 it was Jordan Howard. In 2017 it was Kareem Hunt and Alvin Kamara. Murphy, Chris, and Joe have been burning the midnight oil for weeks now looking for that guy who will find his name on ESPN's Most Owned Player on Championship Teams article next January.

This episode isn't for the guys who are already household names. The guys will bring you their take on Saquon Barkley, Sony Michel, and the rest of those guys next week. This week they'll be talking about lesser-known prospects like Rashaad Penny, John Kelly, and Kalen Ballage.

But first, it's the usual News & Notes along with the return of Fact or Fiction. Make sure you stay tuned all offseason for all the draft, free agency, OTA, and training camp coverage that will give you a leg up on the rest of your league.
