In this episode of The Fashion Clinic podcast, our very own Izadora talked to the MA Fashion Entrepreneurship & Innovation alumni Shao Hua Huang about her innovative start-up idea, Cocoon. Cocoon takes a new approach to the lingerie industry. They produce perfectly fitted custom bras and digitalise the bra fitting process using 3D scanning technology. They have also adopted a made-to-order model, minimising waste for patterning and prototyping while avoiding overstock. Cocoon is a brand for every bra wearer, regardless of the shape, size, age, ethnicity, gender identity, or sexual orientation.  

We reminisced on the course that helped to spark Shao's creative ideas in the fashion industry and discussed the CISL accelerator program that brought her new opportunities.
