In the first episode of the Deep Dive, I want to examine a brand that I love, Uniqlo. I want to specifically delve into the company's highly regarded collaborations. With news of the Jil Sander, +J, collaboration returning I felt it was a good time to talk about what makes these collaborations so special. Many brands that specialize in selling clothing at an extremely accessible price point have partnered with luxury designers to create an exclusive collection.  However, Uniqlo's limited collections have always been more well-made, wearable, and had more of an impact in the long-run. I wanted to learn more about the company and try to figure out why they've been able to separate themselves from their competitors while staying true to their company values.
