John Roberts is the owner and operator of Olivor Heritage Farms. Olivor is a combination of their grandsons' names Oliver and Ivor. They are also the reason John and his wife Chrysti have been making changes to their diet. They want to be healthier for them, and they want Olivor and Ivor to grow up knowing where their food came from, and how to raise it naturally. In today's world how many people can actually feed themselves without buying food? Actually being able to raise enough food to feed your family and have a surplus to sell to others is a powerful thing, at the most basic level of living. This is one of the main reasons why we wanted to bring John on the podcast and spotlight Olivor Heritage Farms. We get eggs, duck eggs, goose eggs, pork, and a variety of products from John, and we encourage anyone in the Tampa Bay area to check them out. If you don’t live in Florida, we still think you should listen to this episode because the main message is this: we should all take more responsibility in knowing where our food comes from and how it is raised and harvested. We should all support our local ranchers and farmers, and small businesses vs. the massive food giants, who definitely do not have our best interests in mind.

He helps people create high-performing hearts & specializes in helping those with Heart Disease, Type 1 diabetes, and autoimmune conditions. This week’s guest, Linda Catalina, is known as @wakeupwithlinda on Instagram and is an entrepreneur and activist. She was born in Colombia and now resides in Miami, Florida. Linda used to be a liberal until she did her own research and understood she was misled by the media.

We want to start this show with a quick disclaimer because we are going to be talking about freedom of expression, which has been under attack at an unprecedented level. This show will be in defense of free speech. For some reason, I think people conflate defending free speech with endorsing what is being said. They are not the same.

I don’t know how we got to a point where freedom of speech became a partisan issue. It should unite all of us. First of all, it’s not illegal to scream “FIRE” in a theater (I know that’s a surprise to those not familiar with free speech law). It’s only illegal if someone does that and it leads to a crime being committed—to change that would be the first step in stripping away free speech. This is what happens in an authoritarian society. This CANNOT happen here.

Our parents are from Cuba, and we heard the horror stories from our parents growing up. I don’t get offended by many things, but one thing that does offend me is when ungrateful Americans take our freedoms for granted. By the way, RIGHT NOW in Cuba, they are rounding up artists and musicians. Google the San Isidro movement. This is a controversial topic, but this is why we are different than any other country. Bottom line--adults should be able to handle any type of words being said. Direct communication is frowned upon nowadays and it’s killing our discourse and our ability to disagree civilly. We cannot silence anyone. Besides, why not let the racists, the bigots, all the crazies out in the open where we can see them?

Can you imagine if Facebook and Twitter banned BLM after all of the riots, violence, and property destruction, they were censored online, de-platformed, had their funds cut off from fundraising, and blacklisted? I don’t defend their disgusting actions, but we have the law to deal with those.

I will defend their freedom of expression wholeheartedly. They can say all they want online and in the public square. Remember this quote:

“First they came for the socialists, and I did not speak out—because I was not a socialist.

Then they came for the trade unionists, and I did not speak out— because I was not a trade unionist.

Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—because I was not a Jew.

Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.”
