The hottest conversation this week has been the suspension of track superstar Sha'carri Richardson from the Tokyo olympics. in this episode, we discuss what happened and I offer some opinions regarding the situation regarding the usage of marijuana in pro sports and life.
Prior to 1917, East St. Louis Illinois was a booming industrial community that offered jobs and opportunities for many...however due to racial tensions and other situations that occurred the area suffered one of the most devastating riots our country has ever seen. where somewhere between 100-200+ black men, women, and children lost their lives and some 6,000+ were left displaced and homeless. Find out what happened and why we need to learn more about these situations that make up American History.
In todays society we see a large number of people leaving the church, or closing not to be a part of the church at all. A lot of times, the reason behind this is undressed "church hurt"...today, I sat down with my brother to discuss some of the church hurt situations we have faced, and what we can do as a church community to rectify...to do better moving forward.
On the heels of the Derrick Chauvan/George Floyd court case, another officer involved shooting happened in Ohio. A young woman by the name of Ma'Khia Bryant was shot under some contraversial circumstances. Lets dive into a discussion on this case, as well as look at how it plays a roll into the grand scheme of things we've seen in the past...and unfortunately, things we will see in the future as well.
