Fewer young people are identifying as Bible-believing followers of Jesus. Christians need to make some radical shifts in how we think about training up the next generation because what we've been doing isn't working. Some 70-80% of kids raised in Christian homes walk away from the faith by the end of their freshman year of college. Fortunately, we have a perfect example to learn from in our Heavenly Father.
This Sunday we will look at how God fathered His children and see what needs to change in how we are raising up the next generation to follow Jesus. This will be a great sermon for singles, young people, parents, and older folks alike. We all have much to learn and a part to play in helping the next generation find and follow Jesus.
