We've come to the point in Hebrews where the author exhorts the Christian community to love each other like family. What does that look like? Surprisingly, it means loving strangers and remembering prisoners and the oppressed. Global Christian Relief estimates that 1 out of 7 Christians worldwide face persecution for their faith. And the Pew Research Center estimates that two-thirds of inmates in the US identify as Christians. How should we respond? Hebrews 13:1-6

As we draw to a close in chapter 12 the author introduces us to two different mountains. One marked by fear, and another marked by Joy. Why does Hebrews show this? And what are we to learn about the faith? We look forward to seeing you Sunday as we learn how to have an enduring faith marked by gratitude and reverence in the work of Christ! Hebrews 12:18-29

This week we are in Hebrews 12:5-17. Here in the midst of of weariness and hardship we will read of God’s loving discipline. Which, as we will see, God uses to affirm our relationship with Him and mature us in Jesus’ image. Hebrews 12:5-17

We are now at the beginning of the end of Hebrews. The author of Hebrews challenges his readers to continue running the marathon of the life of faith. But what does it really mean to run with endurance? And how can we do that today? Hebrews 12:1-3

We’re at the end of the “faith” chapter and two kinds of faith experiences are described. One group of people was victorious and the other group suffered terribly. How do we explain this, given that both groups had faith in the same God? Hebrews 11:32-40

We have finally reached Hebrews 11, a well known passage where the author calls his audience to continue in the faith. But who are all these people from the Old Testament he talks about? And why is he listing all these people? This Sunday we will answer these questions as we try to understand how to answer the call to faith in our lives today. Hebrews 11:1-16

As we continue in our study of Hebrews we reach the fourth warning passage. Here the author warns his audience of the danger of disobedience and encourages them to perseverance. We look forward to seeing you Sunday as we learn to faithfully persevere to the glory of God! Hebrews 10:26-39

Have you ever struggled with lack of confidence or personal insecurity about yourself, an aspect of life, or your relationship with God? This week the author of Hebrews answers those questions by reminding us about the source of our confidence and how we are to live because of our confidence in Christ. Hebrews 10:11-25

In this passage, God’s pleasure is mentioned twice, but in both cases, it’s things He has no pleasure in. What DOES God take pleasure in? That’s in this passage as well. God takes most pleasure in the obedience of His Son. And God takes great pleasure in us when we are like Him. (Hebrews 10:1-10)
