*- God declared 2025 as the year of change and replacement. The motor on the church’s bus door needed to be replaced, so I purchased a new one. The wrong one arrived, so I replaced it with the correct one that worked! Likewise, don’t become a devalued replacement that’s replaced because you fail to satisfy the need. Even replacements are replaced if they’re not valuable to the purpose.

21 Not everyone who says to Me, Lord, Lord, will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father Who is in heaven.

22 Many will say to Me on that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name and driven out demons in Your name and done many mighty works in Your name?

23 And then I will say to them openly (publicly), I never knew you; depart from Me, you who act wickedly [disregarding My commands].

*- People who believe they’re valuable based on their own self-assessment will be like those who stand before Jesus, listing what they did—only to hear Him say what they did not do because He never knew them. What value do we truly have if Jesus doesn’t recognize us or has never had a real relationship with us?

39 And when did we see You sick or in prison and came to visit You?

29 Are not two little sparrows sold for a penny? And yet not one of them will fall to the ground without your Father's leave (consent) and notice.

31 Fear not, then; you are of more value than many sparrows.

*- Every life holds value, which is why abortion remains a significant issue. Value isn’t measured solely by potential but also by actual performance. This principle works on Shark Tank when entrepreneurs present their product’s potential, yet investors often refuse to make a deal when past performance is weak. Potential alone carries little or no value without demonstrated results.

So then, as occasion and opportunity open up to us, let us do good [morally] to all people [not only being useful or profitable to them, but also doing what is for their spiritual good and advantage]. Be mindful to be a blessing, especially to those of the household of faith [those who belong to God’s family with you, the believers].

Galatians 6:10 AMPC

*- Whenever we have an opportunity to do good for anyone—being of use and profit to them, speaks of value in the natural, and the spiritual. Be ready because a personal encounter with someone can easily and quickly occur anywhere.

*- As the verse states, let’s constantly keep serving others on our minds, especially for Christians we fellowship with.

*- Doing good requires initiating and engaging in random and existing conversations. Avoiding encounters and communication with others directly contradicts what God and Jesus commanded. Neglecting orders is not a minor oversight but bold disobedience to a clear command. This rebellion diminishes our value, like the value of a car that often fails to start.

*Our value depends on how well we help others. Someone who attends an event has value to the host because the individual attended. According to Galatians 6:10, an attendee‘s value significantly increases when engaging with others, especially if a testimony arises from the encounter.

44 And whoever wishes to be most important and first in rank among you must be slave of all.

45 For even the Son of Man came not to have service rendered to Him, but to serve, and to give His life as a ransom for (instead of) many.

*- What valued amount is someone who is only an attendee versus the value of the one who shows others how valuable they are to the attendee? Other fellow-attendees are valuable because they are worth the initiation and engagement of our smiles, conversation, prayer, sharing from our spiritual gifts, encouragement, etc. Trees don’t eat their fruit, and branches that don’t bear fruit are cut off—little or no value.

*- Take an honest look at your life and sincerely seek God in prayer about how your actions—or lack of actions—reflect your actual value and impact.

*- We are not just called to be present—we are called to be fruitful, engaged, and impactful. Our value is demonstrated in how we see and affirm the value in others through smiles, conversations, prayer, and encouragement.

*- The Holy Spirit produces love through us, giving birth to characteristics that reflect high moral standards, including temperance—the virtue of those who master desires, passions, and sensual appetites (sight, hearing, smell, taste, and touch).

*- Temperance is the ability to exercise restraint over one's actions, emotions, and thoughts, aligning them with God's will and moral standards—indicating a life led by the Holy Spirit's guidance.

23 Then he ordered the centurion to keep [Paul] in custody, but to treat him with indulgence [giving him some liberty] and not to hinder his friends from ministering to his needs and serving him

24 Some days later Felix came with his wife Drusilla, who was a Jewess; and he sent for Paul and listened to him [talk] about faith in Christ Jesus.

25 But as he continued to argue about uprightness, purity of life (the control of the passions), and the judgment to come, Felix became alarmed and terrified and said, Go away for the present; when I have a convenient opportunity, I will send for you.

*- The Holy Spirit produces love through us, which gives birth to virtuous characteristics that reflect high moral standards, including meekness—which expresses power with reserve and gentleness.

*- meekness: a quality of gentle strength characterized by humility and a calm demeanor. It is not weakness but power under control, reflecting a spirit of submission to God and consideration for others. This virtue is often associated with the fruit of the Spirit as a mark of true Christian character.

*- Meekness is ("gentle strength")

Take My yoke upon you and learn of Me, for I am gentle (meek) and humble (lowly) in heart, and you will find rest (relief and ease and refreshment and recreation and blessed quiet) for your souls.

*- In the Greco-Roman world, meekness was often seen as a lack of courage or strength. However, in the biblical context, it is a powerful virtue that reflects the character of Christ. Jesus described His heart as "gentle (meek) and humble (lowly)," yet it was meekness that empowered Him to cast out thousands of demons, calm a storm of hurricane proportions, and perform numerous mighty acts. His strength was not in arrogance and pride but in His humble surrender to God’s will.

10 For the love of money is a root of all evils; it is through this craving that some have been led astray and have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves through with many acute [mental] pangs.

11 But as for you, O man of God, flee from all these things; aim at and pursue righteousness (right standing with God and true goodness), godliness (which is the loving fear of God and being Christlike), faith, love, steadfastness (patience), and gentleness of heart.

*- For the believer, meekness is initiated by the Lord’s inspiration and sustained through His guidance and empowerment. It is a divinely balanced virtue that operates only through faith and requires total reliance on God's strength rather than our own.

*- The Holy Spirit produces love through us, and that love gives birth to virtuous characteristics that reflect high moral standards, including faith. In this verse, faith does not refer to faith in God because the fruit of the Holy Spirit does not produce faith in God. Remember, the fruit of the Spirit is about developing our character, not God's. The faith that is love’s fruit refers to the character of one who can be relied on: faithfulness to one’s duties.
