In this message, the first of two this week, we continue “The Feels: A Heart Enounter With the Good News” where we are exploring the difference Jesus makes to our emotional lives. This message, given by associate pastor Mark Coleman, focuses on shame; an emotion that we are all familiar with. 

Shame thrives in secrecy. It seeks to convince us that if people found out they’d reject us. The good news is that God knows it all and has not left, but leans towards us in Jesus. This should fill us with courage to begin the process of exposing the darkness of shame to the light.
