Today, I wanted to talk a little bit more about academic medicine and what a successful career in academic medicine really looks like.
So, today's guest is Dr. Inga Hoffman and she's had an incredible academic career and she's really enjoyed it. She's very passionate about it and I can't wait to dive a little bit more into all of the positive parts of academic medicine and really what it looks like to build and lead through academic medicine.
So, what is a mentor exactly?
On this week's episode, I'm going to break down mentors for you and dig into what mentorship really is. Last week, we were able to see the power of female mentorship.
This week I'm also going to talk about something called sponsors and sponsorship. That's a term that we typically don't hear in the professional space as often. So I'm going to dive a little bit deeper into what a real sponsor is.

Not every woman has to work. Not every woman has to stay at home. There shouldn't be a war between working moms and stay-at-home moms. We should be a sisterhood.
