‘ककसाड़’ दरअसल स्थानीय देवता है जिनकी पूजा ये कम्युनिटी बारिश के बाद करती है। इस उम्मीद से अगर ‘ककसाड़’ का आशीर्वाद मिल गया तो उनके खेतों में उपज अच्छी होगी। तो उन्हें प्रसन्न करने के लिए साल में एक बार ज़ोरों शोरों से एक यात्रा निकाली जाती है और उसी दौरान इस लोक कला का प्रदर्शन किया जाता है।
