  • Fierce Promotes Dexpoppinout, J'Moris, Jay Wayman, and Tsungai Grace
Tsungai is a young dynamic 20yr old South African who is passionate about life and justice. She is a great musician who plays violin, piano, the voice and drums. This is what she has to say about this song that she wrote during lockdown in 2020.
2020 has been a tumultuous year full of failed expectations, incredible loss, devastation and uncertainty. Throughout this year we have been forced to sit, watch and reflect on the going’s on in our world, including the significant loss of lives at the hands of COVID-19, the daunting and heavily publicized American presidential election, and the many incidents of racism that have had the spotlight focused on them.
I wrote this song following the many reports of anger towards the protests that were breaking out all over the world in support of the black lives matter movement. I thought that there seemed to be some sort of misunderstanding as to WHY these protests were relevant. Is it that we are more concerned for the damage to infrastructure than the loss of life? The names Breonna Taylor, Collins Khosa, Tamir Rice, Tawanda Muchehiwa, Ahmaud Arbery, Nathaniel Julius and George Floyd (to name a few) should ignite anger and lament.
“Fighting For Our Lives” is a message to us all to not stand idly by whilst injustices are perpetrated against people simply because of their God-given race. These injustices inflict wounds that are constant reminders that the colour of your skin can determine your life’s worth.
The proceeds from this record sale will be donated towards transformation and diversity education within South Africa. So get listening!!!

  • Fierce Promotes J Moris, Jay Wayman, and M-Jase
    J Moris
A self-dubbed 'product of environment', J'Moris has been drawn to music since he was a young boy. While battling the trials and tribulations of life, he's always found music to be an unrivaled outlet of expression. During his college venture at Lamar University, Moris co-founded the organization Tru Misfitz. Continuing to maneuver more into the music industry, Moris found his southern influence played a heavy part in what he does, deeply embedded in his music and persona.
Growing up in Fort Worth, Texas during the 90's exposed J'Moris to a lot growing up. The drugs, pimps & thugs flooded the streets.

    Jay Whyman
"My family moved to Hillsboro, Texas, to try and get away, but to no avail. The crack epidemic consumed Hillsboro also. Watching my loved ones fall victim to the drugs or the streets, I felt he only had one choice. Use them both to My advantage & find a way out. My older brother, Crunch, looked out for me alot. He never wanted me in the streets but he also knew the outcome was inevitable. He showed me how to finesse the game more, how to be apart of the game but also be hands off.. Unseen.. The lessons he taught me molded me into who I am today and also gave me the opportunities to graduate high school. Something he, or my little brother J Hodge, never did."
"I tell God to watch out for me while I chase the route of evil..." (from 'Extra')ormer Bmx Cycling Champion of New Zealand, Jay was raised with Music at the Track. Jay moved to Australia & Collaborated with Ikon Studios in Brisbane to create an R&B Album with Motown Influences, however keeping the production modern. Jay enjoys Piano Harmonised songs

  • Fierce Chats With Cammellio
just starting off my musical journey this year. I've always been passionate about the arts, but didn't really start appreciating the importance of music until I deployed to Afghanistan 2018. People like Xxxtentacion, Amy Winehouse, Childish Gambino, Chance the Rapper, Bob Marley, mac miller, and Juice Wrld really helped me through the toughest days, and I just want to do the same for people.
