NEON BLACK DREAMS

Neon Black Dreams grabs your nostalgia and resurrects it anew. The continues to grow across all social media with their unique blend of influences. Blending influences of Madison Beer, Depeche Mode, The Eurythmics and John Carpenter. They have just finished their first full-length album “Kiss of the Universe”. The story being two souls forever destined to find each other through multiple lifetimes and destinies. The debut album is set in the late 80’s and details their thrilling and tragic story from Yara’s point of view. While each song is meant to stand on its own, the experience takes the listener through each chapter of this epic story creating a soundtrack to a truly emotional experience.

The band began during late 2020 as JJ searched for the perfect voice to tell the story. In early 2021, Yara joined the band, and the future was set. The pair come from wildly different musical backgrounds. With music that combines Pop, Synthwave, Post-rock with R’n’B infused vocals to create another dimension of sound. The band does not accept musical genre limits but rather allows the power and feeling of the songs to dictate the sound. JJ brings his love of films scores and synth pioneers to try and capture the raw emotion of the characters in the story.

ZUKIO

18 year old girl from New York City. Trying to live her dream of making and producing her own music!

Blending his cultural heritage of Jamaica with the Hip Hop sounds of Maryland and the West Coast, Lyricool makes inspired music for the soul. Intelligently crafted with infectious beats and that laid back lyrical flow that courses through his Caribbean blood, the rapper is a veteran of the freestyle battles that add so much credibility to his name.

Growing up with a father who created his own Reggae tracks as he DJed on sound systems at basement parties, Lyricool was always destined to follow the groove. A classic story teller inspired by the lyrical masters such as Bob Marley, Jay-Z, Eminem and Redman, his style is for people who are fans of intricate word play, double entendres, who love a bit of rude boy swagger, and who are less focused on a chorus but more on the journey.

Determined to release a second album he realized that good things don’t come easy, and seven years later he is ready to catch the wave once again. A full studio album in his pocket and dropping later in the year, he is sending advanced messages about its content with his August release ‘Stranger Things’. Inspired by the TV series, he flips the narrative and makes it about meeting a stranger for the first time.

Appearing at PurpleFest on August 28th in Cumberland, MD, he is once again delivering his brand of love, heartbreak and laughter inside of a horror film back to the world. Like a fine wine, maturity and depth of flavor only develop as the years march on. For Lyricool, that historical journey is now taking him to a world unimagined. Join him on his ride to the future and move to the sound of a different drum.

NYC born & raised, Naj Mahal is an MC(master of ceremonies), who knows how to express his sound through different genres of music. His sound originates from 90’s & early 2000’s HipHop/R&B/Gospel/Pop-music. The story is very organic, from the way he flows about his journey in this life we are all living. Which makes the music very relatable, to what people are thinking & not saying. Which makes his style very brave & unique.

Prequel to the Sequel of the Album Never is Today, by Matthew Flora Poetry Band is now available to download on Apple Music. Matthew is from Jonesville Virginia USA and has been an Artist for over 20 years perfecting his craft in music. His inspirations are NIN, Ron Pope, Georgia Red Clay, Levi Lowery, Bill Gentry, Lynyard Skynyard and Southern Rock.
