CHARLIE ICON

"I've been on stages since I was 5 years old. It was my passion to perform...to create art through music. To influence people. To give memories. From then and for the next 25 years I pursued that passion. Then life happened. Caught up in the pursuit of wealth, I forsake that passion. In 2011 I recorded an EP I titled "What's Left Of Me". I believed that was everything left I had to give to the passion that had fueled me for so long. 10 years later...there is a round two...I am not done yet." - CI

CURTIS JAMES HILL

I've always written out of the need to express myself. My music is a reflection of my life and my heart. I've been influenced by anyone from the Counting Crows, James Morrison, India Arie, George Michael to the one and only Mariah Carey (underrated eternally)

Where are you from and what’s the music scene like there?

Live in north DFW (Shout out to The Colony!), but really started getting serious about writing music when I lived in the Bay Area. I formed a band called Out of the Blue a few years ago and gigged at local bars but I lost my way a little back.

(CBS) – Police say yesterday's deadly shooting in Morris, Illinois appears to have been completely random.

Police say Beverley Lambert, 25, was picking up her 2-year-old child from a babysitter when a 16-year-old armed with a gun shot her twice in the back of the head.

Investigators say that suspect was in the area trying to get a ride when someone told him to leave. A short time later, he started shooting.

They say he then stole lambert's car, prompting a widespread manhunt.

"I've never heard of an offender in Grundy County committing a murder at age 16 in the history of the county," said Grundy County States Attorney Josh Helland. "This just does not happen here."
