The AIHL Season has officially been cancelled so, fittingly, Luke and Jordan get together for one final show for season 2020 to reflect on the season that was(n't).

The guys return after a month and it has been a big month in the AIHL. Plenty of news topics to cover, while Ben Breault drops by to chat about his junior career, where not to play in Europe, and his passion for coaching.

It's a milestone episode this week, as the Fifth Liners turns 50! A few regulars lend their voices to the show to discuss the lads reaching 50, plus we discuss whether the Ice Dogs are done, whether the Mustangs can squeeze their way in to the top four, and what on earth is going on with a finals stream. Plus, Newcastle Northstars Captain Bert Malloy joins us, as does Melbourne Ice goaltender Thomas Munro.

Three guests on the show this week with Luke away again, a pseudo-live podcast as Andrew Petrie hobbled up the stairs at Perth Ice Arena to chat, regular co-host Chris Kostopoulos hopped on and Perth Thunder import Jake Gilmour jumped on for a chat about his hockey career, and that time he was traded by his Dad, Hockey Hall of Famer Doug Gilmour.

This week's guest is a name familiar to listeners, it's Luke! He returns to the podcast for one week before jetsetting off again to discuss the Thunder's rise in to fourth, the EPL-style standings in the AIHL, and recounts some hilarious tales from his holiday to North America. We also create the worst possible AIHL player, and talk about fan base meltdowns.

This week is Luke's last away from the show, and 1992 Goodall Cup Winner and Perth Thunder Assistant Coach Chris Kostopoulos jumps on to chat about the finals changing location, how the finals picture has been shaken up, and what Andrew Petrie was like as a player.

After a strange week around the AIHL, it was nice to see some action on the ice, and Eric Balnar joins Jordan to help unpack the week that was. We shed some light on the finals situation, figure out who will step up and find their place in the top four, and make a plea to help[ the Adrenaline improve.

Jamie Wilson jumps on the podcast this week as the guys discuss whether the finals weekend is potentially on the move, and what impact that'll have on the league.
