In this episode Jake + Nicci were again supposed to discuss Jakes recent traveling to Europe but go sidetracked discussing what influence actually looks like and why we settle for building movements instead of marriages. This week Jake Hamilton interviews one of his longest standing friends, Micheal Miller; father, husband, business owner, he helps lead MARKED
In this episode we explore how our story defines us regardless of whether or not we want to engage with it. Eventually we find that ignoring it doesn't work, that it seeps up through the very ground we walk on, through very conversation and interaction, how we see the world and how we view others. To ignore it is to do so at our own peril. Micheal and Jake explore some of Micheals story, his experiences with bio dad and step dad, abuse and rejection and what we can do today to engage with the pain and find healing that we can offer ourselves and those we love.
