  • Lizzo Talks About Racist Origin Of Pop Music, Bob Dylan Apologizes For Not Signing 'Hand-Signed' Books

Pop music is “inherently” racist, Lizzo said in an interview published Friday.

“If people did any research they would see that there was race music and then there was pop music,” the singer-rapper told EW. “And race music was their way of segregating Black artists from being mainstream, because they didn't want their kids listening to music created by Black and brown people because they said it was demonic and yada, yada, yada.

Bob Dylan has publicly apologized after iHeartRadio.ca reported on the suspicions of collectors that “hand-signed” copies of his new book The Philosophy Of Modern Song were not, in fact, hand-signed.

In a message to fans on his Facebook page, the 81-year-old music legend admitted it was “error in judgment” to use an autopen device to inscribe his signature in 1,000 copies of the book that were priced at $600 U.S.
