It was all change at Celtic Park for this one, as Brendan Rodgers made no fewer than eight alterations to his starting line-up following the midweek draw with Kairat Almaty.
With one eye on Tuesday’s return leg in Kazakhstan, Rodgers handed starts to the likes of Dane Murray, Paulo Bernardo, and Shin Yamada, while Hayato Inamura made his first competitive appearance for the club.
The experimental line-up was a gamble - but one that paid off, as the Bhoys ran out 3-0 winners to maintain their perfect start to the league campaign.
Benjamin Nygren claimed Man of the Match thanks to his two-goal contribution, leaving Celtic in good spirits ahead of Tuesday’s clash.
