Season 15, Episode 10: David Gower’s composure at the crease, combined with his perennially relaxed disposition, have contributed to a sense that he’s forever young. But it’s now the better of half a century since he pulled his first ball in Test cricket for four, going on to become, for a time, England’s leading run-scorer. A life in cricket has been his, but not at the expense of wider curiosity.
