Jami Reese, our Chapter Chair in Transylvania County, North Carolina, has been advocating in the public school system for 22 years including speaking at school board meetings.

Her passion for parental rights became personal when she took legal action against her school district following an incident involving her special needs son. Today, Jami continues to use her experience to encourage other parents to become engaged and informed advocates for their children.

In addition to her volunteer leadership, Jami is a Registered Nurse and teaches at a local college, bringing both professional expertise and a servant-hearted approach to her work in the community.

Sherri Garrett is our chapter chair from Knox County, Tennessee. She’s a mom of five boys and a proud grandma to twelve. She has been serving as nurse for 37 years. Through these years of experience, Sheri learned skills that she is finding useful in her role as Moms for Liberty Chapter Chair and in advocating for the students and families in Knox County. She knows that you cannot be afraid to step up and advocate, even when it’s hard.  And she knows that sometimes just showing up is everything.
