Podcast number 22 is all about the Hell's Heroes Festival celebrated in Houston, Texas on April 22-23. An amazing festival featuring a lot of bands within the US power and epic heavy metal scene. Your host, Søren Weiss, went all the way to Houston to take part in the festival. A festival with some of the highlights being Eternal Champion, Cirith Ungol, Sumerlands and Medieval Steel.

After the show Søren caught up with members of Medieval Steel including founding member and singer Bobby Franklin and guitarist Jeff Miller. A nice talk about the story of Medieval Steel, the festival and their new album.

Your host Søren Weiss wen't to the Faroe Islands in the end of February 2022 to take part in the 20 years celebration-concert of "How Far to Asgard" and the release of "A Night At The Nordic House" by TÝR. After the show Søren Weiss spoke with TÝR singer/guitarist Heri Joensen at the venue.

Denmark's Svartsot just released their new album "Kumbl". An all Danish folk metal record with some classic medieval folk tunes adapted into the classic Svartsot metalstyle.

It's time for a history lesson in The Fire That Burns podcast. On March 4th the new Sabaton album "The War To End All Wars" will be released. The 10th studio album by Sabaton deals with the stories surrounding World War One. Songwriter and singer Joakim Brodén teaches your host Søren Weiss in history. A lesson that is both exciting and fun.

The history lesson continues in good company with Jailbreak Festival spokesman Jens Karlsson. The new Danish heavy festival "Jailbreak" is held in the old prison in Horsens, Denmark. A festival where Sabaton headlines this summer. In depth interview with Jens about this new festival and its historic location.
