In our final message of Letters to the Church, we asked: if Jesus wrote an eighth letter today, what would He say to the American church?
First, He would praise. The American church has been a blessing—sending missionaries, translating Bibles, defending the faith, and leading the way in compassion. From disaster relief to foster care, the church has not just spoken of life; it has sustained life.
But He would also correct. Too often we’ve loved comfort more than sacrifice, stayed silent when culture needed truth, put too much trust in politics, neglected Scripture, prayer, and mission, and lived as Sunday Christians instead of whole-life disciples.
The call is simple: remember, repent, and return—back to first love, Scripture, holiness, prayer, and mission.
