Conflict is inevitable, but combat is optional. Healthy couples learn to fight fair by following the rules of engagement that keep love alive, even in tense moments.
We talk about what research and Scripture agree on: how to start soft instead of sharp, how to calm down before anger takes over, and how to reach for repair instead of revenge. You will also learn why most marital conflict cannot be solved, but it can be managed with grace when you focus on the win that truly matters.
The conversation then shifts to forgiveness, where every wrong creates a debt, and every heart must decide whether to hold on or release it. Forgiveness does not excuse sin; it releases control. Through Christ, every debt we owed was paid in full, and we are called to close the ledger and walk in freedom.

Every couple fights, but not every couple fights fair. Conflict doesn’t mean your marriage is broken; it means you’re both human. In this episode, we explore how to handle conflict God’s way, with honesty, humility, and heart.
From “Cold War” stand-offs to “collisions that reveal what's inside", this message digs into what really causes fights, who the real enemy is, and how to follow God’s rules of engagement when things get tense. You’ll learn how to start soft instead of sharp, how to calm down before you blow up, and how to reach for repair instead of revenge.
We’ll also talk about forgiveness, what it means to release a debt, close the ledger, and trust God to settle what you can’t fix. Because love, actually, doesn’t fight to win , it fights to heal.

When you first fall in love, it feels like your brain lights up like a Christmas tree — dopamine, oxytocin, and butterflies in full swing. But when the chemicals fade and real life shows up, what’s left?
In this episode, we explore 1 Corinthians 13:4–7 and discover that love, actually, is more than a feeling. It’s not dopamine, it’s a decision. It’s patient when things are slow, kind when life gets tense, humble when pride wants the last word, and forgiving when keeping score would be easier.

Redwoods stand hundreds of feet tall because their roots grow together. The same is true for marriage. In this episode, we’ll look at Ephesians 5 and learn how humility, respect, and sacrifice help two people become one—and how every marriage tells the world something about the gospel.

Jesus said, “You are the light of the world.” Not you might be, but you are. Light isn’t meant to be hidden; it’s meant to shine. In this episode, we’ll talk about living a visible faith in a world that loves the shadows. Your good works aren’t about spotlighting you, they’re about reflecting Him. So let’s make sure the world sees our light and gives glory where it belongs.
In our culture, love gets defined a hundred different ways. Just look at the numbers: more than half of all songs ever written are about love, and over 100,000 films on IMDb are tagged as romance. From Marvel to Disney, everyone is trying to tell us what love is. The problem? Culture mostly tells us what love feels like and not what love actually is.
That’s where Scripture gives us clarity. In Genesis 1 and 2, God shows us that love, actually, has a Designer, and because God designed it, marriage has a design.

In our final message of Letters to the Church, we asked: if Jesus wrote an eighth letter today, what would He say to the American church?
First, He would praise. The American church has been a blessing—sending missionaries, translating Bibles, defending the faith, and leading the way in compassion. From disaster relief to foster care, the church has not just spoken of life; it has sustained life.
But He would also correct. Too often we’ve loved comfort more than sacrifice, stayed silent when culture needed truth, put too much trust in politics, neglected Scripture, prayer, and mission, and lived as Sunday Christians instead of whole-life disciples.
The call is simple: remember, repent, and return—back to first love, Scripture, holiness, prayer, and mission.

In the letter to Laodicea (Revelation 3:14–22), Jesus confronts a church that had grown lukewarm—comfortable, self-sufficient, and spiritually useless. He calls them to repent, to find true riches in Him, and to open the door to renewed fellowship. This message challenges us to examine whether our faith is passionate and useful, or complacent and compromised.
