Welcome to the First Congregational Church of Somerville's Podcast! We are a community church that encourages spiritual seekers, whether they are just beginning to find faith or are ever-deepening their relationship with God in Jesus Christ. We love to mingle worship and the arts, celebrating God's story in song and drama. Our beliefs have a strong focus on social justice, political and environmental concerns as we strive to live out our faith in concrete ways. We aim in our learnings and livings for harmony with other religious traditions and a visionary view of humanity's relationship to creation. We are intergenerational, multicultural, and celebrate a diversity of God-given orientations: gay, lesbian, straight, bisexual and transgendered. We are a small enough congregation that you will never be a stranger, and a large enough family that there is always something exciting going on! Welcome!
