Most of the anxiety in our house around the start of the academic year can be summed up in how my two very different kids dressed on the first day of school.

Hey my people! It is so good to be back with you after 49 days of sabbatical!  Thank you, thank you, for the gift of time and Sabbath, the chance to step outside the stream of church life and work, and spend treasured time with my family, and with my own soul. It was a great gift; one I hope you get to experience periodically.
