The First Hermetic Principle: The Principle of Mentalism
Welcome to this little, separate series on the "hermetic principles".
Last time I introduced you to the concept of the 7 hermetic principles and where they come from.
In todays episode number 1, we will start with the first hermetic principle: "The All is Mind; the Universe is Mental."
Maybe this sounds a bit abstract or lofty to you? Well, if you are new to spirituality or religion, of course this may sound a bit high up there. But if you are familiar with any kind of spiritual or religious teaching, then you most likely will have come across the concept of everything being connected, of everything being essentilly just one all-encompassing, all-mighty, all-knowing and all-loving collective consciousness.
In essence, that is what the first hermetic principle states.
