In 1971, legendary cricketer Rachael Heyhoe-Flint and millionaire Jack Hayward sat up into the night coming up with the idea for a global women’s cricket tournament. It was then that cricket had its first World Cup. So I got on an expert to discuss it. Raf and I chat about where women’s cricket was in ’71, the weird scheduling, political interference, a final (kind of), Enid Bakewell and of course a fair bit on Rachael Heyhoe-Flint.
