  • I Built a Giant Beach Ecosystem in My Warehouse! (with 112 creatures)

    We transformed our entire warehouse into a real beach ecosystem — complete with 3,000 gallons of water, 2,500 pounds of sand, and over 100 sea creatures ranging from tiny sand fleas to a full-on shark. Starting from nothing, we built out four distinct ocean zones — shoreline, shallows, reef, and deep sea — each packed with fish, crabs, starfish, and some seriously rare predators (including one of the rarest eels in the world)!

    In the wild, fish end up living in places you’d never think to check like an octopus hiding inside a bottle. In this video, we follow a path through South Florida searching different spots to see what rare fish and unexpected creatures are hiding there, and as we move along, things slowly get more intense. From flipping rocks and diving for bottles to fishing a tunnel and checking out a man-made tide pool that traps fish at low tide, every stop brought something different. And at the end, the coolest animal we find earns a spot in our warehouse!

    We just scored the wildest deal on Craigslist—an abandoned epaulette shark setup that was in rough shape. The tank was a total disaster, but we saw the potential... and you KNOW we couldn’t pass it up. 💪🦈 In this video, we take that wreck and transform it into the ultimate shark paradise. We’re talking a custom reef cave, a full-on mangrove lagoon, and a raised tide pool chamber where this shark can actually walk out of the water and hunt like he would in the wild. From the sketchy pickup to the jaw-dropping final reveal, this was easily one of the craziest tank builds we’ve ever taken on. Did the shark approve of his new home?
