After years as a business coach, I’m moving to consulting. Most fit pros and studio owners don’t need months of accountability. They need someone to look at the whole business, name the real problem and hand them a plan.
In this episode:
Book a consult: I’m taking 4 spots a month through December. DM CONSULT on Instagram: @_ria_z

What does it really take to build a successful online fitness coaching business? Spoiler: it’s probably not more followers, more content, or another certification. In this episode, I’m breaking down what online fitness coaches actually need to attract clients, grow their business, and create something that lasts.

What if your business isn’t failing... you’ve just changed?
I recently listened to Mel Robbins’ conversation with Oprah, and one thing Oprah said really stuck with me: we’re allowed to change our minds.
And wow, did I need to hear that.
For the past several months, I’ve been asking myself some hard questions about my own business. Do I still want to coach? Do I have the capacity for six-month clients? Am I continuing to build something because I truly want it, or because I’m afraid of what people will think if I change direction?
In this episode, I’m talking about my decision to step away from long-term coaching for now, why I’m leaning into mentoring sessions, ebooks and lower-ticket offers, and the difference between working hard for your business and forcing a business that no longer fits your life.
Because changing your mind doesn’t mean you failed.
Sometimes it simply means you’re paying attention to what you actually want now.
If you’ve been questioning your business, your offers, or even whether you still want the same things you wanted a few years ago, this episode is for you.
And I want you to ask yourself one question:
If I didn’t care what anyone thought about my business, would I still build it this way?

As we head into the final quarter of the year, I’m taking a hard look at how I want my business to look and feel moving forward. In this episode, I’m sharing what I’m changing, what I’m letting go of, and why sometimes growing your business means giving yourself permission to do things differently.
If you’re a fitness professional building an online business and questioning what you want the next season to look like, this episode is for you.

I Almost Quit Last Year (And Here's What Almost Nobody Tells You About That Feeling)
There was a week I looked at my PayPal balance and saw $5. Empty DMs, empty inbox, and a business I was ready to walk away from.
In this episode, I get honest about the exact moment I almost quit my online business, the unexpected offer that changed everything, and why wanting to quit doesn't mean you're not cut out for this. If you've ever felt like giving up on your business and thought you were the only one — this episode is for you.

Why Your Fitness Instagram Content Isn't Converting (It's Not the Trend)
Everyone's Instagram content suddenly looks the same — same trending audio, same voiceover, same on-screen text. In this episode, Ria breaks down why copying viral formats isn't the problem (and why it can absolutely still work) — but only if you're actually you while you do it. She unpacks the real reason borrowed scripts and trends fall flat for fitness coaches, and what to do instead if your message doesn't feel "ready" yet.

The Money Conversation No Fit Pro is Having
Most fitness coaches are pricing to survive the month, not to build a business that lasts. In this episode, I open up about the exact number I used to charge for coaching, the moment I realized undercharging — not the industry — was making me tired, and the real story of how I raised my prices from $100/month to $1,600/month without ever feeling "ready."
If you're a fitness professional or online coach wondering whether it's time to raise your rates, this one's for you.

August looked great on paper — until it wasn't. In this episode, I'm getting real about the loss that knocked me sideways, why I stopped pushing through when life got heavy, and why a month I had big plans for ended in silence instead of sales. If you've ever had a "slow month" in your online business and felt like you had to fake it anyway — this one's for you.
Not every month is roses. Some months are just digging before you plant. Here's how I'm walking into September anyway — and a hint of what's coming on the show this month.

There's an unspoken assumption in the fitness industry that every trainer's career is supposed to end the same way: online, scaled, and out of the gym. In this episode, Ria pushes back on that idea — not because online coaching is bad, but because it's not the only legitimate version of success. She talks through the massive middle ground between "employee" and "full-time online coach," why chasing someone else's business model usually backfires, and why the real goal isn't leaving the parts of this industry you love — it's building more options around how, where, and with whom you work.

September is one of the biggest opportunity windows in the fitness industry — but the coaches who have momentum going into it started weeks earlier, not on September 1st. In this episode, Ria breaks down the five things she'd want in place before September hits: a clear offer, a clear picture of who she wants to work with, real conversations already in motion, a simple next step for interested leads, and an actual follow-up plan. Plus, why "not right now" from a past conversation might be closer to a "yes" than you think.
