As we enter into a one week rest after Easter, we wanted to look back at the first episode of this year to ready our hearts and minds to continue on in the “Journey to the Promised Land” series as well as our series in the life of Abraham called “Look to the Stars”. In this episode, we will also be reminded of our word of the year JOURNEY and the passage of Scripture that goes along with it - Psalm 121.

HAPPY EASTER SUNDAY!! In the Bible, there are two trees of life. In this episode, we are going to look at both of them. We are also going to look at them in a way that was introduced to me by a sermon clip from another pastor. I hope that you are blessed and encouraged by the words in this episode!

In this episode, we are going to look at the words of the prophet Isaiah as he accounts what would happen to Jesus.

We begin Holy Week today. We celebrate Jesus’ entry into Jerusalem. This event also caused many people to realize that Jesus was indeed the Messiah.

In this episode, we are going to see how Abraham tried to help God keep His promise to him. We will see how sometimes we do the same thing and try to help God. Finally, we will also see how trying to help God can delay what God has for us.

In this episode, we are going to see how God gave Abraham a visual reminder of His promise. We will also see how this visual reminder is still available to us today.

We are starting our series in the life of Abraham. In this episode, we are going to look at what God tells Abraham to do and how what God says applies to our lives today. (This is episode 10 of the Genesis series.) (This is episode 11 of The Journey to the Promised Land series.)

As we come to a close on our first of three series in the book of Genesis, we are going to be looking at the Tower of Babel and how what is going on in the story loops back to what happened in Heaven before “in the beginning”. But we God shows us is there is a choice that we have to make along our Journey to the Promised Land. (This is episode 10 of The Journey to the Promised Land series.)

As we continue on in our series on Genesis, we are going to be looking at a familiar story. Through Noah’s story, we are going to see what an awesome God we have and how He tells us and show us how to do life. We are also going to see how He keeps His promises! In the episode last week, we saw pride creep into the story with Adam and Eve. Well, the trend continues in Genesis 4 with Cain and Able. But God gives a warning on what can happen if we let pride and envy control us.
