Ryan landed in a family that LOVES to hike, especially out west. We love Colorado and the Rocky Mountains, and I have done every hike (long and short) in the Flatirons. When the family was out for a wedding (Caitlin Misencik) in 2017 in Boulder, Ryan was in the mix of seasoned hikers. I begged him to go on an easy hike with the gang. He said he would, but that would be the first and last hike he’d ever do. He’s kept that promise, too (and it’s 2024 as I write this). Ryan doesn’t care for that type of exercise, and I honor that request. But he was a champ that early July morning to shuffle up the fire road to the first Flatiron and back down again.
Thank you!
