This week we begin a new series entitled "We Are." Over the next few months we are deeply examining what it means to "find home, find family, and find purpose." We began with the principle that people who find home in Jesus are praying people. 

In the second week of the Advent season we look to Isaiah 40 to ask where our peace comes from.

This week we look to Isaiah 64 to inform our perspective on the first word of advent: hope. 

As we come to the beginning of the advent season we remember that it is a sacred thing to celebrate the goodness of God and the goodness of the life he has given us. 

This week CJ and Chelsea had the privilege of interviewing Rev Alan Stegall. Alan is a former pastor and lifelong prayer warrior who has seen God move in powerful ways throughout his life and ministry in response to concerted intercessory prayer. Alan has a storehouse of wisdom to share on the topic and we can't wait for you to hear it! 

This week we had the privilege of hearing from Jonathan Sherbet, the Executive pastor of Vision Alignment and Discipleship at Boiling Springs First Baptist Church, of which the Fold is a campus. 

This week, in between our fall and advent series, we pause to come to the communion table considering how we live our lives prepared for the coming of Jesus. 

To close out our series on the communal nature of the church we hosted a discussion with Stephen Bledsoe, one of our Fold Groups ministers; Chelsea Arrington, our staff counselor; and Delaney Robinson, our children's minister on the various ways that community is crucial for our lives as followers of Jesus.
