Everyone knows pasta is one of the greatest things in life. In every form, shape, size (and even colour), pasta is the best. Someone who knows a lot about pasta, and cooking it in its many easy and tasty forms, is Welsh/Italian cook, TV presenter, cookbook writer, and the eldest of the Chiappa sisters, Michela Chiappa. 

She loves pasta, and cooking with her kids so much, she's teamed up with Barilla to work on their 'Kids in Cucina' campaign, to help encourage parents and children to do more cooking, without causing more chaos. 

Michela stopped by to chat about all things Italian, whether or not it is ok to put cream in carbonara, and about all things PASTA. 

Judy Joo is probably my most well-travelled FoodTribe podcast guest, having visited more than 100 countries. She’s worked at some amazing world famous restaurants – including The French Laundry, The Fat Duck and The Playboy Club – written cookbooks, recently launched Korean Street Food restaurant Seoul Bird in London, and is now starring on ITV's Cooking With the Stars. She splits her time between the US, UK and Asia, and somehow also finds time to appear on countless TV shows, as both a judge and guest chef.

Wilfred Emmanuel-Jones MBE is also known as The Black Farmer. You've probably enjoyed his sausages or other products over the years. He (virtually) stopped by for a chat about Windrush Day, the importance of diversity in farming, Caribbean cooking, rum, flamenco and Morris dancing. 

Louise Palmer-Masterton is the founder of the delicious Stem & Glory plant-based/vegan restaurants, which started out in Cambridge, and then expanded to London. Like everyone in hospitality, the past year has been really tough, but Louise and her business has adapted, and has been delivering plant-based goodies around the UK. She (virtually) stopped by for a chat about all things vegan, plant-based, the differences between the two – and told us whether she judges people who eat meat, and what she’d like meat eaters to know about being vegan.

The legendary Gennaro Contaldo almost doesn't need an introduction. He's one of the UK's most loved chefs, he's widely known as the man who taught Jamie Oliver all he knows about Italian cooking, he spent time entertaining us with the late, great Antonio Carluccio on 'Two Greedy Italians', and he's written a dozen best-selling Italian cookbooks, covering everything from pasta through to slow cooking. He (virtually) stopped by for a chat about all of the above, his love of cheese – and gave his very strong opinions on pineapple on pizza and cream in Carbonara.

The FoodTribe podcast rolls on! Liam Dillon is the chef and owner of award-winning, The Boat Inn in Lichfield, Staffordshire. He's worked in some of the world's best restaurants and under some of the world's best chefs, including Marcus Wareing. He drops in to chat about his journey, some very memorable tales from his early days, and all the work he's been able to get done over the past crazy year. Yes, and there is a story about him splitting his trousers while working at Eleven Madison Park in New York.

The FoodTribe podcast is back, and it's going to be bigger and better than ever (which shouldn't be too hard, as series one only ended up being three episodes). We're starting off with a good one – nearly an hour of chat about food, drink, wine, travel, cheese and the moon with the one and only... James May. We may have even invented a new religion.

After erm, too many weeks, the FoodTribe podcast returns. This week we’ve been joined by LA-based freelance journalist Clare Wiley, who’s here to give us some serious wanderlust. Clare spent a year living in different city every month with a group of 70 people.
