It's INTERNATIONAL BREAK! 

Episode 29 of the Footy Culture podcast starts off with some Canadian football talk, and whether or not the panel’s men’s league team could fare against the Cayman Islands. Next up is the European qualifiers for the World Cup, with some key discussions centering around if Ronaldo was wrong in throwing his captain's band, as well as how much more highly-rated would Benzema be if he didn’t get banned from international call ups. 

The lads give us their opinions on Van Basten’s proposition to abolish the offside rule, as well as how society would be if Kane squared the ball to Sterling in the 2018 World Cup. The boys then cap off on some CONMEBOL talk, and who their favourite team in Europe is at the moment.

Episode 28 starts off with la liga talk, with talks of Barca’s big win during the weekend, Suarez’ 500th career goal, and Benzema being the best French striker ever. Next up is Serie A and how Juventus got embarrassed against Benevento, Ribery vs Robben debate, and what Juve need to do with their team to be back on top. 

Bundesliga brings us to Haaland scoring more goals bringing his tally to 21 in the league, and how Andre Silva is a system player and is benefiting greatly from the Frankfurt style of play. An interesting question is then proposed, questioning which recent signing they would refund from their respective teams and why. Some brief Premier League and Ligue 1 talk is brought up, mainly being about how United need to focus all their efforts on Europa league and how Mbappe became the youngest Ligue 1 player to score 100 goals. 

The lads then cap it off with some brief UCL talk before calling it a show.

This week on the Footy Culture Podcast kicks off with the North London Darby, and how the game has diminished over the years. This leads to a discussion of which team in Europe has the most world-class players, debating what "world-class" truly means.

Moving on to Serie A and how Chiesa is one of Juve’s best players this season. 

Also, can Romelu Lukaku win the Ballon D’or this season?  To cap it all off, we get some insight from James on Der Klassiker and how the Bundesliga is boiling up. Also, will Lewandowski break Gerd Muller’s 40 goal season, with only 9 goals left in 9 games??

The lads also discuss whether Rashford is in the same tier as young players like Haaland and Sancho.   

Moving on to La Liga, should Simeone get the sack? And is Toni Kroos the best German midfielder of all time?   

Some Bundesliga talk ensues as the lads speak on whether or not Dortmund will be able to keep their key players if they miss out on Champions League qualification. And is Mbappe a fraud in a farmer league, listen to the stats and judge for yourself.

This week on Episode 24 of the Footy Culture Podcast the lads spark discussion with another Liverpool disasterclass. This week on the Jordan episode of the Footy Culture Podcast the lads begin with the incredibly contrasting week Manchester United had with their results. This transitions to the downfall of Liverpool FC, highlighted by a nightmare of a showing from World's Best Alisson Becker. And with the league essentially decided, we praise Manchester City and the brilliance of Philly Foden.  

Moving on then to Serie A, and how Ibra became the 3rd active player to have over 500 career club goals. The lads also discuss whether Barella is generational or not and if he’s the type of player to stay in Italy his whole career. Some Dortmund talk comes up on how they must recoup at least 75 million euros worth of player assets to the pandemic. Does this mean they sell Sancho or Haaland?  

Next, the cast discusses Le Classique and how Marseille is a joke of a club. Then over to some Barca analysis on the midweek and weekend game that took place, and how Antoine Griezmann is the BEST Player of 2021?!  

An interesting top 10 list of the best players of the decade is brought up and the boys discuss who should’ve made the list and who shouldn’t have.

The lads kick off this week with the big United-Arsenal game and make debate out of the stalemate. New gaffer Thomas Tuchel has Chelsea firing and we discuss why Callum Hudson-Odoi is CRIMINALLY underrated. We then pivot over to Liverpool talk and whether or not Salah is considered a premier league legend. 

The lads then recap the Steven Spielberg film that was the Milan-Inter Coppa Italia clash, with talk of who would win a brawl between Romelu Lukaku and Zlatan Ibrahimovic. Next up is Bundesliga talk and how Jadon Sancho snatched up the captain's armband in plain sight. Messi’s contract leak is then discussed and whether or not he is worth the insane valuation. 

Closing off before our special segment, the lads talk about how some angry Marseille fans stormed the training ground to attack some of the players and staff, and how Payet is a snake, as well as what's next for Zinedine Zidane.

The lads kick off this week speaking on the England darby, and how Liverpool are in the mud whilst Manchester United are flying sky-high. Topics include the brilliance of Bruno Fernandes, PogBACK?Lowkey Leicester, and Legend Lampard OUT.  Moving on to bundesliga talk, the boys discuss Dortmund's massive slippage, with Haaland and Sancho the only constant, and the curious case of Thomas Muller, why no recognition? 

Some brief Ligue 1 talk leads us back to Canadian phenom Jonathan David with him finally getting his name on the scoresheet somewhat consistently.  We then hear about the two Barca games that happened in the past week and how Puig finally gets his first goal for Barca, and also whether or not a midfield 3 of Pedri, De Jong and Puig would work. 

We cap off la liga talk with a little debate on if Hazard is average or not.  The last league topic of the day brings us to the Serie A and the lads bring up a good point about how underrated Szczesny is. A regular occurrence of Juventus paying the refs is mentioned and also how Tonali is overrated because of his haircut.
