Livewire small forward Kaden Harbour proves to be one of the better genuine pressure forwards of this draft. His speed, tenacity and hunger for the footy creates plenty of trouble for defenders and in his own words, plenty of goals for team mate and top candidate Jye Amiss. One to watch lower in the draft, he would be a handy selection for any club who took him.

Rough nut midfielder Kade Dittmar has put himself into draft contention after struggling with back issues, Kade impressed across all 3 grades with East Perth, making him one of the few mids in the draft with experience against the top grade of senior footballers. A tackling machine, averaging nearly 6 tackles a game in the Colts competition for the Royals, Kade has been likened to a Jack Steele type.

The number one pure key forward in this years draft, East Perth's Jye Amiss enters this draft off the back of a 51 goal 15 behind season with the Royals. Jye kept rocketing up draft boards and looks a likely top 10 selection in this years draft after a stand out season.

The 2021 WAFL Colt's Jack Clarke medal recipient for Best and Fairest, Josh Browne is a consistent accumulator. Averaging over 32 disposals and just under a goal a game, Josh more than earned the honour of B&F after a sensational season. Certainly one to watch in this draft, Josh could find himself falling anywhere in this draft and would be a more than valuable asset were he to get selected.

East Perth's Jimmy Tunstill has made a name for himself bossing the midfield for the Royals in the WAFL Colts competition this season. Averaging over 20 disposals a game, Jimmy has gained interest from multiple clubs throughout the season and proves a potential late bargain for any club that may choose to take him.

The leading pure ruck of WA's draft class, Subiaco's Jake South burst on the scene after a quiet draft year in 2020, with little expectation of himself to be in the conversation for the draft. That said after a strong year with Subiaco averaging 23.6 hit outs a game in the Colts before going up to prove himself in the Reserve's in the last 3 rounds of the season, Jake has proven himself worthy of selection in this years draft and could be a late option for clubs looking to bolster their ruck stocks.

Claremont's Jacob Van Rooyen is the stand out genuine Swing-Man of this years draft. Plying his trade as a key forward or back, Jacob kicked 34 goals in just 9 games of WAFL Colt's footy as he began the season in the clubs League side despite battling Glandular Fever. He stood out as a defender in the state series against South Australia, alerting clubs of his ability to play at the highest level at either end of the ground, making him a valuable asset and putting him in first round contention for the draft.

One of the leading key forwards of this draft, Jack Williams proves an interesting selection ahead of the draft with a wide range of potential selections he could be taken, every club will have an opportunity to get him. After kicking 40 goals from 15 games in the WAFL Colts competition for East Fremantle, Jack has caught a lot of interest from a lot of clubs. Having played for the Future's side against Geelong's VFL team early in the season and being one of the stand out forwards, he has proven his ability to play with the big boys, certainly one to watch in this years draft.

State captain and East Fremantle league defender Finn Gorringe missed out on the draft in 2020, but that didn't stop him from coming back stronger in 2021. After a strong season with the Sharks, and leading WA to a 3-0 series victory over South Australia, Finn has certainly had a year to remember.
