I am just rumbling about Intensive Interaction, melatonin and sound healing. Tonight is more of a checking in rather than anything else :)
Just briefly saying hello as I am returning.. or trying to!! Due to the pandemic I had to stop recording but now I think I can come back.. let's hope so! It has been a crazy roller coster but we are surviving :).
I might just be doing things a little different now and I also would like to incorporate various things that I have been learning this past year.
So here we go for a new adventure!
Thanks for passing by
Stef
Why can we not just be ourselves? Having a condition it shouldn’t be an impediment, it shouldn’t be an exclusion from others, but unfortunately it is. We talk about creating an inclusive society which is aimed at lowering certain factors like social and cultural bonding, but when it comes down to facts and actions we have a society that runs backwards.. look at what’s happening in the world right now...
“The moment a little boy is concerned with which is a jay and which is a sparrow, he can no longer see the birds or hear them sing.” {Eric Berne}
How can we talk about equality and integration where to this day there is ignorance all around us. How can we then blame humans who cannot integrate in society and not because they do not want to but because they cannot just because of their race, or where they come from, etc How can we talk about a fair society where the society itself doesn’t give an opportunity.
This is in relation to what has happened recently. Imagine having someone who doesn’t talk and cannot express the way they feel or what they want to say, someone who might not comprehend what others are telling him. Do the police care if the person that they are talking to isn’t understanding? This is my worst fear. Having my child killed or put in jail and not because he did not comply but because of his needs.
This is my first ever episode!! So why did I start a podcast??? To create a movement and a safe space for women like myself who are struggling in a society that doesn’t give a voice and an opportunity to be heard to many of us.
The podcast currently has 6 episodes available.
