Not a bad ending
Not for me. Lead character was not likeable, or believable. Got bored with her very quickly. Good, but somewhat obvious, twist at the end.
Utterly Dreadful !
Was this book meant for teenagers?
I think I made a mistake buying this book thinking it was adult fiction. It was truly dreadful and I finally gave up when I could no longer listen to the dreadful dialogue between a bunch of eleven year olds that sounded as far fetched as I have ever had to listen to. Nothing about this book rang true, the very silly story, the awful main character who acted totally unprofessionally as a child psychologist and would have been immediately struck off, and the pre teens who acted and sounded like adult hardened criminals. I even felt sorry for Lisa Coleman having to narrate such drivel, I normally enjoy her work and the characterisation she brings to a story. I think even she gave up this time. What a waste of a few hours.
A really cracking story
Whilst I realised whodunnit midway in, the twist did catch me out! I never mind that, I really enjoyed it. Good story telling and great narration from Lisa Coleman as always. Highly recommended.
