  • Dana Perino: “The Biden White House Is In Triage Mode”

On Thursday, President Biden joined fellow NATO leaders in Brussels to discuss Russian President Vladimir Putin’s invasion of Ukraine. As the incursion surpasses one month, the U.S. has reaffirmed support for Ukraine's defense by providing $1 billion in humanitarian aid, providing more weaponry to their troops and issuing harsher sanctions against Russia. Co-anchor of ‘America's Newsroom’ and former White House Press Secretary Dana Perino joins to discuss why Putin has been undeterred despite more economic sanctions, the Biden administration’s messaging on domestic issues amid international crises, and how Judge Ketanji Jackson Brown’s confirmation hearing has brought awareness to voting issues. Later, Dana pays tribute to the late Madeleine Albright, who made history serving as America’s first female Secretary of State.

According to the United Nations, roughly a quarter of Ukraine's population has been displaced in the Russian invasion. They will square off in May to see who will face the presumptive Democratic nominee, Stacey Abrams in November. Governor Brian Kemp joins to explain how the gas tax holiday will help his constituents deal with high fuel prices and why he believes his record on the economy and kitchen table issues will bring voters to the polls. Later, he lays out the differences between himself and his primary challenger and why he is excited for a rematch against Abrams in the general election.

  • Media Scrutiny Following Hunter Biden Laptop Story

In October 2020, leading up to the Presidential election, the New York Post published an article reporting that a laptop belonging to Hunter Biden had been recovered and it contained evidence that he was trading on his family’s name. Not only was this story labeled Russian misinformation by countless media organizations, but Twitter and Facebook initially restricted access to the article. Now the New York Times has confirmed the authenticity of Hunter Biden’s laptop and the messages that it contained. Howard Kurtz, host of "MediaBUZZ" on the FOX News Channel and the Media BUZZMeter podcast joins to breakdown how the mainstream media originally suppressed this story, the recent corroboration of this story creating questions surrounding journalistic accountability and how this may impact the public’s trust in the media.

Following the destruction of the city of Mariupol, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced on Sunday that he was ready to meet with Russian President Putin to negotiate an end to the current war in Ukraine. President Biden has already signed off on billions of dollars worth of aid to Ukraine, and on March 24th he will meet with NATO allies in Brussels in an ongoing effort to avoid the possibility of entering a third world war. Wisconsin Senator Ron Johnson joins the Rundown to discuss how the U.S. should be assisting Ukraine, Russia's plans for a new world order, and how the Biden administration is being viewed by Russia and its allies.

Scientists have been tracking the COVID-19 subvariant known as BA.2, which has been spreading across the globe and causing cases to surge in Europe and Asia. Coronavirus cases in the U.S. have been trending downwards, however, and experts suggest that given its high transmissibility and ability to circumvent some of the protection from vaccines, BA.2 could soon become the dominant strain in the country. Professor of Medicine at NYU Langone Health and Fox News Medical Contributor Dr. Marc Siegel joins to discuss what Americans can expect if the U.S. is hit with a BA.2 surge, the value of vaccines in tandem with natural immunity, and why it's crucial for the Biden administration to focus on hospitalizations and death as opposed to mere transmissions.

  • A Former Russian TV Anchor On Putin's Propaganda And Censorship

The Russian journalist who recently interrupted a live broadcast of Russia's state TV Channel One with an anti-war message that read, "Stop the war. Don't believe the propaganda. They are lying to you here" is seen as a hero to those who oppose Putin's war. Her actions also put a spotlight on the Kremlin controls the information their country's media is allowed to report

As free media organizations across the globe continue to report on Russia's invasion of Ukraine, Russian state-controlled media has obscured the truth and reality of the war for many of its citizens.

Earlier this week, former Russian news anchor Anna Kultin joined host Jessica Rosenthal to discuss her experience working at a Russian state-controlled TV network, how the misinformation blurs the truth for Russian citizens, and how the Kremlin is portraying the invasion of Ukraine.

Kultin also discussed how Russians fear their government and how the people should not be blamed for the actions of their leaders.

Due to time limitations, we could not include all of the interview in our original segment. On the FOX News Rundown Extra, you will hear our entire conversations with former Russian news anchor Anna Kultin and learn more about how Putin weaponized state media and how propaganda is being used in this current war.
